ICF Announces 8th Annual IN THEIR SHOES 5K to Benefit Iraqi Orphans, Vulnerable Children; Early Bird Registration Opens

The Iraqi Children Foundation (ICF) announced today the launch of “early bird” registration for the upcoming, June 6, 2020, “IN THEIR SHOES 5K” to benefit Iraq’s most vulnerable children. The 8th annual 5K run/walk and after party will be held in Alexandria, VA with an after party of music, Iraqi food, and family friendly activities.

“The annual 5K has become a great event to gather friends and family who love Iraq and have a heart for the kids who have suffered so much during years of war and violence,” said ICF Executive Director Liz McRae.  “We want to do a lot of good for these kids and have a lot of fun doing so!”

Join veterans who served in Iraq, Gold Star Mothers, families from the Iraqi-American community, diplomats, and others for this annual event.  Registration includes race shirt, Iraqi food, water, and all activities.  Early bird rate in effect until March 31.  Sign up and bring a team!
